Major League Wrestling issued a press release on Tuesday to announce the re-signing of Josef Samael to a multi-year contract. Additional terms of the deal were not disclosed. Read the official press release at MLW.com.
Powell’s POV: MLW recently announced that fellow Contra Unit member and MLW Champion Jacob Fatu has re-signed a multi-year deal. The press release regarding Samael’s deal is done with the storyline in mind, as MLW CEO called it a signing “done under protest” before adding that “we have to find ways to accomplish business with Contra, so this deal was unfortunately necessary.” Samael has been a big part of Contra Unit’s success and has really impressed me with his mic work.
