NXT Champion Adam Cole spoke with Brian Fritz of BetweenTheRopes.com at the WWE Performance Center today and spoke about his desire to remain with the NXT brand. “Specifically with this move [to USA Network], I’ve never wanted to stay involved with NXT more in my life,” Cole said. “Again, I’ve been a part of the growth of NXT before we got on television, but now that we’re on television, oh man, even more so do I want to stay here and be a part of this brand. Again, I’m really proud of the matches we put on, I’m really proud of this crew, so I want to be involved and stay here as champion for as long as I can.” Check out the video below or via the Between The Ropes Youtube Page.

Powell’s POV: Cole spoke about his fear of karaoke, more about his affection for NXT, the move to USA Network, the possibility of moving to the main roster, Undisputed Era drawing comparisons to legendary factions, and more.
