WWE announced that Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly will defend the NXT Tag Titles against The Street Profits on the October 2 edition of NXT on USA Network. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: Shayna Baszler vs. Candice LeRae for the NXT Women’s Championship is also advertised for next week’s show, which will be the first two-hour broadcast on USA Network and the first time that NXT and AEW on TNT run head-to-head. With the winner of Wednesday’s street fight between Matt Riddle and Killian Dain earning an NXT Title shot, one has to wonder if the plan is to build up a Championship Wednesday edition of NXT with three or even all of the brand’s titles being defended.
