The following matches are advertised for the WWE Clash of Champions event that will be held on September 15 in Charlotte, North Carolina at Spectrum Center.
-Seth Rollins vs. Braun Strowman for the WWE Universal Championship.
-Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship.
-Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship.
-Bayley vs. Charlotte Flair for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
-Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Roode and Dolph Ziggler for the Raw Tag Titles.
-Big E and Xavier Woods vs. The Revival for the Smackdown Tag Titles.
-Shinsuke Nakamura vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship.
-Roman Reigns vs. Rowan.
-The finals of the WWE King of the Ring tournament.
-Drew Gulak vs. Humberto Carrillo vs. Lince Dorado in a Triple Threat for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
Powell’s POV: WWE announced the Reigns vs. Rowan match, and added Lince Dorado to the WWE Cruiserweight Title match since our last update. They also appear to be working toward Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross vs. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville for the Smackdown Tag Titles. Each of the main roster titles will be defended on this event, so we’re still waiting for the U.S. Title match.
