WWE Smackdown Live viewership post SummerSlam

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.164 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was up from the 2.088 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.

Powell’s POV: Only a minor increase coming out of SummerSlam for the Tuesday night show. WWE advertised Roman Reigns vs. Buddy Murphy on Monday’s Raw for the Smackdown show. It was a questionable move because they’d done so little with Murphy on the main roster. That won’t be an issue if they do a good job of following up on last night’s star marking performance. The August 14, 2018 edition of Smackdown delivered 2.189 million viewers.

  1. You’ve got a great site. After being banned from WINC for calling out people disrespecting wrestlers, it’s nice to be at a place where you can freely speak.
WWE lost it years ago. They will be what they once were, must-see television.
