ROH Manhattan Mayhem
New York, New York at Hammerstein Balroom
Matches broadcast on the HonorClub streaming service

The broadcast team was Ian Riccabon, Colt Cabana, and Caprice Coleman.

1. Dragon Lee beat Jonathan Gresham. Lee double stomped Gresham, who was in the tree of woe position. Lee followed up with a running knee for a near fall. Lee connected with a second knee to the head and scored the pin…

ROH Champion Matt Taven came out wearing a Boston Red Sox jersey. Taven cut a promo about facing Jay Lethal later in the show. Kenny King came out barking that Taven didn’t return his calls so he had to come out and confront him. King took the mic and said, “That’s a lame ass jersey on a lame ass champion.” When the fans cheered, King told them that the New York Yankees suck too. King recalled beating Jushin Liger and Great Muta (in a battle royal). He said they are doing new things in ROH so he wanted to do some “live and exciting shit.” King asked to be added to the ROH Title match and said he didn’t think Taven would do it because he knew he’d end up in a hospital bed next to Red Sox great David Ortiz. Taven said there’s only one true king in ROH and accepted the challenge…

2. The Bouncers beat Coast 2 Coast and Soldiers of Savagery in a three-way tag match. SOS put Beer City Bruiser through a table at ringside. Referee Brian Hebner disqualified SOS. Coast 2 Coast dove onto SOS. It was announced that SOS were ejected, yet the match would continue without them. In the end, the Bouncers hit Closing Time on Shaheem Ali for the win.

After the match, TK O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia attacked The Bouncers with chairs. Marseglia sat down on a chair in front of the fallen Beer City Bruiser and lit up a cigar. Marseglia grumbled that The Bouncers are No. 1 contenders for the ROH Tag Titles. Marseglia told Bruiser that if he wants to get sick with him then he’d get sick with him. Marseglia put out the lit cigar on Bruiser’s chest. O’Ryan took the mic and said he was always a bigger fan of whiskey. O’Ryan also called out Rush…

3. Rush defeated TK O’Ryan. Rush won with his running dropkick finisher. Rush went to ringside and bumped fists with fans, including a fan who was wearing a mask like his. The fan jumped the barricade and attacked Rush. The fan eventually unmasked to reveal himself as Dalton Castle.

4. Matt Taven beat Jay Lethal and Kenny King in a Triple Threat to retain the ROH Championship. Lethal hit a late Lethal Injection for a near fall. King hit a Lethal Injection on Lethal and followed up with a Royal Flush. Taven performed his Climax finisher on King, then covered Lethal for the win. Riccaboni said it was time to start giving Taven credit. Afterward, Lethal offered Taven a handshake. Taven accepted and then kicked Lethal in the balls…

5. Mark Haskins, Tracy Williams, Bandido, and PJ Black beat Marty Scurll, PCO, Brody King, and Flip Gordon. Bandido hit a 21-Plex on King, then Black followed up with a springboard 450 for the win. Black is still not an official member of Lifeblood…

6. Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe defeated “The Guerrillas of Destiny” Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa in a New York City Street Fight to win the ROH Tag Titles. A wild brawl that includes chairs, tables, a ladder, and other weaponry. Late in the match, the GOD performed a Magic Killer on Mark on top of a stack of chairs that were lying in the ring, but it only led to a near fall. Loa went for a powerbomb from the ropes on Mark, who performed a huracanrana. Tonga performed the Gun Stun on Jay, but Mark threw a chair at Tonga’s face. Jay was blood. Mark set up a ladder and a table inside the ring and put Tonga on top of the table. Loa returned and climbed the other side of the ladder. The ROH graphic appeared on the screen for a a bit. Eventually, the Mark performed a missile dropkick from the top of the ladder onto Tonga, who was knocked off Jay’s shoulders and through the table. Mark covered Tonga and pinned him, making the Briscoes eleven time ROH Tag Champions.
