NXT has revealed the following matches for the first round of the Breakout Tournament that will play out on NXT television.

Left Side of the Bracket

-Dexter Lumis (Sam Shaw) vs. Bronson Reed (Jonah Rock)

-Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (Shane Strickland) vs. Cameron Grimes (Trevor Lee)

Right Side of the Bracket

-Angel Garza (Garza Jr.) vs. Joaquin Wilde (DJZ)

-Jordan Myles (ACH) vs. Boa

Powell’s POV: The first tournament matches will air on NXT television on Wednesday. As you can tell, WWE is back in name change mode for incoming talent. Putting that aside, it’s a fun concept to showcase a lot of good, new NXT wrestlers.
