UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier had some fun with Brock Lesnar losing the WWE Universal Championship to Seth Rollins on Sunday. “Ha, Brock got beat up,” Cormier wrote on Twitter. In related news, there is also a report from AGFight.com that UFC is targeting a Cormier vs. Lesnar fight for UFC 241 on August 17. The fight has not been confirmed by UFC as of this update.

Powell’s POV: Cormier auditioned for a WWE broadcast team position in late 2018 with the idea being that he could be part of Smackdown once the show moves on Fox in October. He even teased the possibility of appearing at WrestleMania 35 prior to the event.

Check below for the new Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast with Jason Powell and guest John Thorne, who discusses promoting the AIW Slumber Party Massacre from the Thursday of WrestleMania weekend (available via VOD on FITE TV), being a small fish in the big WrestleMania weekend pond, his long history with Johnny Gargano, and much more.
