AXS touts upcoming NJPW broadcast plans

AXS TV issued the following press release to promote their upcoming NJPW television shows.

A rematch match four months in the making, New Japan Pro Wrestling’s EVIL takes on Zack Sabre Jr. on AXS TV’s premiere of NEW BEGINNING IN SAPPORO 2019 this Friday, Feb. 8 at 8pE/5pP, less than a week after it took place in Japan. Check out a first-look clip of their match here.

Also featured during the hour-long special from night one of NEW BEGINNING IN SAPPORO, EVIL’s tag team partner SANADA takes on Sabre Jr.’s partner Minoru Suzuki in a preview of their night two battle for the IWGP Tag Team Championship.

AXS TV’s coverage of NEW BEGINNING IN SAPPORO continues for the next two weeks on Feb. 15 and Feb. 22, before showcasing the best of NEW BEGINNING IN OSAKA 2019 on March 1 and 8.

Powell’s POV: NJPW airs weekly on AXS at 7CT/8ET and is followed by the one-hour WOW series.
