Ian Riccaboni has re-signed with Ring of Honor to continue as the company’s play-by-play voice. Sean Radican of PWTorch.com reports that Riccaboni could have opted out of his old deal next month and started negotiations with other companies, but ROH was able to sign him to a new deal first.

Powell’s POV: Riccaboni does terrific work as the voice of the company. ROH appeared to be in a tough spot when Kevin Kelly, Steve Corino, and Nigel McGuinness left the company, but Riccaboni stepped up immediately and has formed strong broadcast teams with Colt Cabana and/or Caprice Coleman. ROH was wise to re-sign Riccaboni before he hit the open market.
