NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool Pre-Show

Blackpool, England at Empress Ballroom

-The pre-show team of Vic Joseph and Nigel McGuinness checked in from the balcony of the building. They ran through the five match card.

-Separate shots aired of Toni Storm and Rhea Ripley arriving at the building. A video package aired on the NXT UK Women’s Championship match. McGuinness predicted that Storm will eke out a win.

-The focus shifted to the Tyler Bate and Trent Seven vs. Zack Gibson and James Drake match that will determine the first NXT UK Tag Team Champions. A video package aired.

-The Dave Mastiff vs. Eddie Gordon match was discussed briefly.

-A video package aired on the opening of the WWE UK Performance Center. Triple H told the media in attendance that it would be the first of many performance centers opened outside the United States. Clips of Charlotte Flair and Finn Balor addressing the media were also shown.

-Interviewer Radzi checked in from backstage and set up footage from “earlier today” of Jordan Devlin attacking Travis Banks as he arrived at the building. Banks sold a left knee injury. Radzi said Banks was receiving treatment on his knee, but he is medically cleared so the match will go on.

-Joseph and McGuinness hyped the WWE UK Championship match and then a video package aired. Joseph and McGuinness delivered final hype for the event to close the pre-show.
