Impact Wrestling pulls LAX from Evolve events

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Evolve booker Gabe Sapolsky announced that Impact Wrestling has pulled the LAX team of Santana and Ortiz from scheduled appearances on December 15-16.

Powell’s POV: It’s unfortunate for the fans who were hoping to see LAX on those shows. I was surprised to see the Impact Tag Champs announced in the first place. Meanwhile, WWE has reportedly signed some of their NXT UK talent to new deals that restrict who they can work for. As much as we’ve seen borders open in 2018, I can’t say I’m surprised to see some of them closing, as the companies are ultimately going to do what they feel is best for their own business. I reached out to Impact Wrestling for comment on LAX being pulled from the Evolve shows on Tuesday, but they have not responded as of this update.
