NJPW King of Pro Wrestling lineup: The full card for Monday’s event headlined by a rare Triple Threat for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship

The following matches are advertised for the New Japan Pro Wrestling King of Pro Wrestling event that will be held on Monday in Tokyo, Japan.

-Kenny Omega vs. Kota Ibushi vs. Cody for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship

-Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Jay White for the contract for an IWGP Heavyweight Championship match at Wrestle Kingdom.

-Kushida vs. Marty Scurll for the vacant IWGP Jr. Hvt. Championship.

-Evil vs. Zack Sabre Jr.

-Sho, Yoh, Toru Yano, and Kazuchika Okada vs. Tetsuya Naito, Sanada, Bushi, and a partner.

-Will Ospreay, Hirooki Goto, Tomohiro Ishii vs. Takashi Iizuka, Taichi, and Minoru Suzuki.

-The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, and Chase Owens vs. Taiji Ishimori, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and Bad Luck Fale.

-Ttomoaki Honma and Togi Makabe vs. Juice Robinson and Toa Henare.

-El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs. Tiger Mask and Jushin Liger for the IWGP Jr. Hvt. Tag Titles.

Powell’s POV: It’s a rare Triple Threat for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. While that won’t please everyone, it does look like a really fun match on paper. The event will stream live on New Japan World and I should have a review of at least the top matches available after the event.
