Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.72 rating, up from the 1.55 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.437 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.189 million viewers.

Powell’s POV: This is the best number that Smackdown has delivered since April. The show was given a boost by being the first edition coming out of the SummerSlam event. The August 22, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered 2.685 million viewers for the first show coming out of SummerSlam.
