ROH and NJPW G1 event sells out Madison Square Garden

By Jason Powell, Prowrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

The Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling G1 Supercard event has sold out Madison Square Garden. There are no standard tickets remaining on Ticketmaster. The event will be held on April 6 (the night before WrestleMania).

Powell’s POV: This is such a cool story. The company sold a ton of tickets for the pre-sale and it took less than 30 minutes of today’s general sale for the remainder of the tickets to be purchased. NXT Takeover will be running the same night in Brooklyn and I will be shocked if that event doesn’t sell out as well. Congratulations to ROH and NJPW officials on this history making sellout.
