WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar appeared at UFC 226. Lesnar was cageside with Dana White for the main event of the show that saw Daniel Cormier defeat Stipe Miocic to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar delivered a post fight promo and said, “DC, I’m coming for you motherf—er.” Lesnar ended up shoving Cormier at one point.

Powell’s POV: I was covering the NJPW show, but my buddy Rob Z. is in attendance at UFC 226 and said the push came off as being “very WWE style.” No date has been officially set for the Cormier vs. Lesnar fight, but there are reports suggesting that it will occur before the end of 2018. Meanwhile, there’s no word yet as to when Lesnar will return to the ring for WWE.
