By Jason Powell, Prowrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

The following matches and events are advertised for tonight’s WWE Smackdown television show.

-“Team Hell No” Daniel Bryan and Kane open the show

-Jeff Hardy defends the U.S. Championship in an open challenge

-Asuka vs. James Ellsworth

-WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Aiden English

-Becky Lynch vs. Peyton Royce

-New Day’s first annual 3rd of July pancake eating contest

Powell’s POV: The New Day members will compete against themselves in the pancake eating contest. Join me for live coverage of Smackdown as the show airs at 7CT/8ET (Jake Barnett is on vacation). I will be by after the show with an audio review for the members, and again on Wednesday with the WWE Smackdown Hit List.
