WWE pay-per-view events will expand to four hours beginning with the Money in the Bank event. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reports that WWE has informed international partners that the Money in the Bank event will start at 6CT/7ET, an hour earlier than usual.

Powell’s POV: It appears that the majority of the WWE events will run roughly four hours in length while the big four events of WrestleMania, the Royal Rumble, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series will run even longer. The change was expected due to WWE reverting to dual brand pay-per-view events. It’s good for the talent in that there will be more slots available on the shows. Some fans will love the extra hour, while others will view it as overkill.

  1. I tend to make a night out of it when there is a PPV and will clear my calendar on Monday if necessary so 4-7 hour PPVs don’t bother me in the least.
