Thursday’s Impact Wrestling television drew 295,000 total viewers on Pop TV, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 299,000 viewers the show accumulated the previous week.

Powell’s POV: More of the same for Impact, though there was not an NBA Playoff game last night. The NHL Playoff game delivered 1.556 million viewers for NBC Sports. Last year, Impact Wrestling produced 309,000 viewers viewers on the Thursday, May 10 edition.

  1. Well, enough ‘wrestling fans’ have worked hard to piss on everything Impact does. Naturally, when promotion is choked out by snarky comments and stupid remarks, it’s hard for anyone thinking about giving Impact a chance to really pursue it.

I guess watching WWE ‘s homogenized entertainment program is really preferable by ‘wrestling’ fans.

  2. Or viewership could be down because it’s not winter anymore and so people go outdoors and do things. PVR is a wonderful thing.
