ROH War of the Worlds (Night One)
Lowell, Massachusetts at Lowell Memorial Auditorium
Report by Dot Net staffer Zack Zimmerman

$32 was the cheapest ticket available at the box office. The place is pretty full, maybe only the back four or five rows are empty. NXT sold out the same venue (when Samoa Joe won the NXT Title) and I think ROH/NJPW did last time too.

1. ROH Tag Team Champions The Briscoes beat Flip Gordon and Jushin Liger.

2. Tenille Dashwood and Sumie Sakai over Scarlett Bordeaux and Deonna Purrazzo. Dashwood pinned Scarlett. Afterwards, there was a big brawl between Purrazzo and Kelly Klein, who ran out to attack her.

Dalton Castle came out. He said the title match between he and Matt Taven won’t happen tonight as advertised. He said accumulating injuries have caught up. He said he was not relinquishing title, just taking a little time to heal. The Boys throw out croissants to pacify the crowd.

3. Coast 2 Coast defeated Vinny Marseglia and TK O’Ryan (w/Matt Taven. In pre-match promo, Matt Taven promised to be ROH Champ the next time they’re in Lowell. Coast 2 Coast got a rollup win when Christopher Daniels came down and took back the ROH Six-Man Tag Title belts back from the Kingdom. A promo sets up SoCal Uncensored vs The Kingdom for the six-man titles tonight.

4. Bully Ray beat Cheeseburger via ref stoppage. Bully Ray beat up Cheeseburger until the referee stoppage.

5. Cody, Marty Scurll, and Adam Page beat Rocky Romero and Roppongi 3k. There were issues between Marty and Cody despite the win. They didn’t leave together. The crowd liked Marty in the dispute.

Intermission

6. Tetsuya Naito, Evil, and Sanada defeated Silas Young, Beer City Bruiser, and Brian Milonas.

7. Chuckie T beat Jay White and Jay Lethal in a three-way. T won with a quick jackknife pin on Lethal after Lethal hit the Lethal Injection on White.

8. “The Kingdom” Matt Taven, TK O’Ryan, and Vinny Marseglia defeated “SoCal Uncensored” Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky to win the ROH Six-Man Tag Titles.

9. The Young Bucks defeated Hiromu Takahashi and Bushi.
