WWE has announced the following matches for tonight’s Raw television show.
-Roman Reigns vs. Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn in a Men’s Money in the Bank qualifier.
-Sasha Banks vs. Ember Moon vs. Ruby Riott in a Women’s Money in the Bank qualifier.
Powell’s POV: I like the idea of the MITB qualifying matches and they don’t seem as predictable as they would if there was nothing at stake. For instance, Reigns would be a favorite to win his match if this were a standard Triple Threat, but we have no idea if the company actually wants him in the MITB match or if they have other plans for him for this event. I wouldn’t say Roman Reigns is a favorite to win under ANY circumstances. I’d more so say that he’d be an obvious to win, which is groan worthy.
THey’re not going to have Reigns win MITB. Would make no sense.
