Jerry Lawler teased on his weekly podcast that he and Jim Ross will be calling WWE’s Greatest Royal Rumble event. The show will be held on April 27 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. Listen to the “Dinner With The King” podcast at Podavenue.com/dinnerwiththeking. Powell’s POV: Technically, Lawler said “there’s a good possibility” that he and Ross will be calling the show, but he sure seemed confident about it. You can listen to him discuss that and tease the possibility of entering the actual Rumble match in a clip below. “Maybe we can get me off that (no touch) list just for the world’s biggest Royal Rumble,” Lawler said. The event will be shown WWE Network in some form, though it’s unclear of whether it will air live or on delay. If the show airs live, the broadcast would begin the same day at 11:00 a.m. CT/12:00 p.m. ET in North America.
