NXT Tag Team Champion Bobby Fish underwent surgery to repair his ACL and MCL in Birmingham, Alabama this week, according to Dave Meltzer of WrestlingObserver.com. Fish, who suffered the injury during the March 4 live event in Indianapolis, Indiana, is expected to be sidelined up to six months.

Powell’s POV: NXT did not strip Fish and Kyle O’Reilly of the NXT Tag Titles at the television tapings on Wednesday. Without getting into spoilers, the Undisputed Era is scheduled to defend the NXT Tag Titles at the NXT Takeover: New Orleans event on April 7. it remains to be seen who will team with O’Reilly for that match. Adam Cole is already booked for a match at Takeover. It’s possible he does double duty or perhaps they will add a member to the Undisputed Era faction either permanently or even on a short term basis.
