NXT TV Taping
Atlanta, Georgia at Center Stage
Report by Dot Net reader Brian Oglesby (first four match results courtesy of Twitter.com/BenTurpen)

1. Candice LeRae over Vanessa Borne.

2. Kassius Ohno over Raul Mendoza.

3. Shayna Baszler beat Dakota Kai.

4. Lars Sullivan beat Lio Rush.

5. Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly defeated Roderick Strong and Alister Black to retain the NXT Tag Titles. Sanity was taken out backstage prior to the tag match. Nikki Cross ran out during an in-ring pre-match promo and was held down by referees. During the match, Black left he ring to chase an interfering Adam Cole into the crowd, which led to Strong being pinned. Cole attacked Black afterward.

William Regal came out and announced Aleister Black vs Adam Cole at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia would now be and Extreme Rules match.

6. Andrade Cien Almas defeated Kassius Ohno.

7. Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli defeated Heavy Machinery.

8. Lacey Evans defeated Aliyah. Lacey Evans cut a promo after the match and Shayna Bazler came
out and attacked Aliyah. Ember Moon made the save.

9. Roderick Strong defeated Fabian Aichner.

10. Author of Pain defeated the Street Profits.

11. No Way Jose defeated Cesar Bononi. Somebody tried to start a CM Punk chant and was booed heavily.

12. Bianca Belair defeated an unnamed female wrestlers. I presume the unnamed wrestler is a local wrestler as she was not given an introduction. There was a comical chant of ” Let’s go jobber.”

The Authors of Pain destroyed what I presume were two local wrestlers before their match even began. AOP cut a quick promo afterwards before hitting their finishers on the locals.

13. Johnny Gargano defeated The Velveteem Dream. Gargano’s title match at Takeover was at stake. There were dueling chants for both guys most of the match. Easily the best match of the night.
