Impact Wrestling viewership down

Thursday’s Impact Wrestling television drew 226,000 total viewers on Pop TV, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 255,000 viewers the show accumulated the previous week.

Powell’s POV: A poor week from Impact that is partially explained by the NFL game drawing over 17 million viewers between the NBC and NFL Network simulcast. Last year, TNA Impact Wrestling produced 303,000 viewers viewers on Thursday, December 8 edition.

  1. The bottom line is Impact needs a tv deal. POP tv just doesn’t have the viewership to help Impact financially.

  2. I don’t see them getting one with no way to retain top names.
