Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.493 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 2.662 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.

Powell’s POV: WWE advertised some non-title matches, New Day vs. Rusev and Aiden English, and focussed on Shane McMahon’s latest reaction to Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. Perhaps it’s time to stop playing up Shane’s reaction to (fill in the blank) as the focus of the advertising as it’s definitely part of the story yet has become a bit repetitive on the ads. The December 6, 2016 edition of Smackdown delivered 2.479 million viewers.
