The following matches are advertised for the Ring of Honor “Final Battle” event that will be held on Friday, December 15 in New York, New York at Hammerstein Ballroom.
-Cody vs. Dalton Castle for the ROH Championship.
-The Motor City Machine Guns vs. “Best Friends” Chuckie T and Trent Beretta for the ROH Tag Titles.
-Marty Scurll vs. Jay Lethal.
-Kenny King vs. Punishment Martinez vs. Shane Taylor vs. Silas Young in a four-way for the ROH TV Title.
Powell’s POV: While not officially advertised by ROH, the recent storyline developments point toward Bully Ray and Tommy Dreamer vs. The Briscoes and The Addiction vs. War Machine being added to the lineup. In fact, both matches are listed on the Final Battle Wikipedia page along with Matt Taven vs. Will Ospreay. The lineup is looking terrific on paper and the build on television to the top matches has been excellent. I will be covering the show live as it airs on pay-per-view television and via the FITE TV app.
