Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.603 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was up from the 2.119 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.
Powell’s POV: WWE numbers typically decline for taped shows. Obviously, the lack of World Series competition helps, but the strategy of putting out the spoiler that AJ Styles won the title likely led to some viewers watching the show who would have passed had they not known in advance. The November 8, 2016 edition of Smackdown delivered 1.921 million viewers.
