Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.87 rating, up from the 1.62 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.699 million viewers, up from last week’s 2.320 million viewers.
Powell’s POV: A strong increase for Smackdown, presumably due to the Smackdown wrestlers invading Raw the night before. The most impressive part of the number is that Smackdown aired opposite the first game of the World Series, which delivered nearly 15 million viewers for FOX. The October 25, 2016 edition of Smackdown delivered a 1.56 rating with 2.127 million viewers.
