The new WWE Network subscriber count

WWE’s quarterly earnings report lists the WWE Network as having 1.568 million paid subscribers as of June 30, 2017. The number was down from the 1.661 million subscriber mark the company was at coming out of WrestleMania 33 in April. 1.158 million of the latest subscriber count comes from the United States, and 410,000 are international subscribers.

Powell’s POV: The latest total WWE Network count, including free promotional users, is 1.633 million. The overall count was at 1.949 million coming out of WrestleMania, and 1.560 million on June 30, 2016. The total paid subscriber count on June 30, 2016 was 1.511 million. Vince McMahon and executives George Barrios and Michelle Wilson will address the second quarter numbers in a conference call this morning at 10:00 a.m. CT.
