GFW Impact Wrestling viewership improves without sports competition

Thursday’s GFW Impact Wrestling television drew 374,000 total viewers on Pop TV, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was up from the 345,000 viewers the show accumulated last week.

Powell’s POV: Impact ran on the ideal night in terms of there being no major sports competition with the MLB teams still on the All-Star break. It will be interesting to see how much of the audience they maintain next week. Last year, TNA Impact Wrestling produced 358,000 viewers viewers on Tuesday, July 12.

  1. The increases in the last two weeks are somewhat encouraging. Outside of moving to a more prominent network, GFW has to work hard to advertise, market and generate buzz to their Impact show. They got some of that the last two weeks.
