Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live scored a 1.78 rating, down from the 2.02 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.596 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.885 million viewers.
Powell’s POV: A disappointing number considering that Smackdown was coming off a hot show that featured the return of John Cena. The January 7, 2016 live broadcast of Smackdown for the move to USA Network delivered a 1.93 rating with 2.757 million viewers.
