Ring of Honor announced that Nigel McGuinness as resigned as the promotion’s storyline matchmaker. “One of ROH’s all-time greats, the former ROH World Champion has resigned,” reads the ROH statement. “ROH management has announced it is forming an executive committee to oversee matchmaking in ROH. Powell’s POV: The statement played up the possibility that McGuinness’s character resigned due to Adam Cole and the rest of Bullet Club. McGuinness has yet to comment on his Twitter page, but we’ll be sure to let you know if that changes.
