-Scott Stanford, Lita, Booker T, and Jerry Lawler hosted the show. They hyped AJ Styles vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship.

-The Miz’s homecoming celebration will take place on Smackdown.

-Baron Corbin will appear on the pre-show.

-Jerry Lawler spoke about growing up in Cleveland and being a fan of the local sports teams.

-The hosts spoke about Dolph Ziggler’s losing ways. Lita said he’s 1-5 in his last six matches. Booker said the competition has stepped up. Stanford pointed out the hairspray finishes. Lawler said he felt bad for Ziggler. Booker said he was waiting for Lawler’s punchline.

-Stanford brought up Ambrose defeating John Cena last week. Lita said something about Cena still being capable of match of the year candidates. She also spoke about how the Dudleys were focussed on having their last run even though they were already past their prime.

-Booker predicted AJ Styles would retain the championship. Lita picked Ambrose to win. Lawler went with Styles.

-Baron Corbin was interviewed from the building. He said he’s never satisfied with where he’s at in his career. Booker asked what it will take for him to get a title shot. Corbin said he doesn’t need a silver spoon like Kevin Owens got when Triple H helped him win the title. Corbin said he took fourth place in a tournament when he was young. He said his dad took his fourth place trophy and threw it out the window, and now he doesn’t settle for anything more than first place.

-Lawler noted that Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge will be ringside for Smackdown.

-Naomi and Nikki Bella vs. Carmella and Natalya in a rematch from last week was announced for Smackdown.

-Backstage at Smackdown, Charly Caruso spoke about Miz being in good spirits for his homecoming and because he beat Dolph Ziggler last night. She also said Randy Orton is in the building and seems intent on confronting Bray Wyatt.

-Becky Lynch will wrestle on Smackdown Live.

-The hosts wrapped up the show.
