-TNA Impact Wrestling features Drew Galloway vs. Eddie Edwards, and Eli Drake vs. Aron Rex is TNA Grand Championship semifinal matches. Impact airs 7CT/8ET time slot on Pop TV. I will not be able to cover Impact live for the next month or so. However, John Moore’s review of the show will be available later tonight or on Friday.

-NXT is in Venice, Florida at Venice Community Center tonight. WWE stopped advertising talent on their live events page for their NXT B-show live events in Florida. However, there is not a weekend tour outside of Florida, so the spot shows will likely have more star power than usual.

-NXT is in Jacksonville, Florida at Maxwell Snyder Armory on Friday.

-Ole Anderson (a/k/a Alan Rogowski) is 74 today.

-Super Delfin (Hiroto Wakita) is 49 today.

-Luther “Horshu” Reigns (a/k/a Matthew Wiese) is 45 today.

-Bob Sapp is 43 today.

-Big Boss Man (Ray Traylor) died of a heart attack at age 41 on September 22, 2004. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame posthumously by his family earlier this year.

-Johnny Valentine (John Wisniski) was born on September 22, 1928. He died at age 72 on April 21, 2001
