-Host Scott Stanford announced that the Kevin Owens championship coronation will open Raw.

-Stanford was joined in the WWE Headquarters studio by Jerry Lawler, Lita, and Booker T.

-Stanford noted that it’s Labor Day in the United States and asked the panel what they would have done for work if they were not wrestlers. Booker said he would have been one of the hottest dancers in Vegas. Lita mentioned being a musician and said her real Plan B was driving a truck. Lawler told a bunch of bad jokes about various occupations.

-A video package recapped Kevin Owens winning the WWE Universal Championship with help from Triple H. The hosts played up the surprise element, and questioned whether Stephanie McMahon knew that her husband was going to interfere. Lawler set up footage of Seth Rollins chewing out Stephanie, who barked back at him at ringside last week.

-The footage of Kevin Owens’ son reacting to his father winning the WWE Universal Championship was shown.

-The hosts questioned why Triple H would hitch his wagon to Owens. Lawler said Hunter might believe Seth peaked.

-A Chris Jericho tweet said “we” are going to make a great champion in regards to his “friend” Owens.

-The hosts played up Sasha Banks tweeting that she will be on Raw and has some “bad news.” Lita said that catchphrase is open again. Booker brought up Daniel Bryan announcing he was finished, and Lita recalled Finn Balor also announcing his injury. Booker said Sasha is finished. Lita brought up Sasha’s back injury and said she hope the announcement isn’t related. Lawler said he thinks Sasha is going to announce she will be back and better than ever.

-Lita spoke about Bayley and said she has already met or exceeded expectations. Lita said it’s tough to have so much hype around your debut, but she’s in an awesome spot. Lawler said people who are surprised by how good Bayley is must not have the network.

-Charlotte was shown walking backstage. Dana Brooke approached and asked why she hasn’t responded to her calls or texts. “Why would I?” Charlotte asked. She wasn’t happy that “my muscle” has failed to put Bayley away. “I have zero tolerance for losers,” Charlotte said. She gave her a clipboard and said Dana should take notes on how she will beat Bayley. Stanford noted that it’s Charlotte vs. Bayley in a non-title match.

-Footage aired of the odd Paul Heyman and Stephanie McMahon segment. Stanford acknowledged that Heyman acted like he put one over on Stephanie.

-Kevin Owens was shown arriving at the building.

-The three up, three down segment aired. The hosts wrapped up the show shortly thereafter.
