-Scott Stanford, Jerry Lawler, and Lita hosted the show from WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Stanford hyped that Daniel Bryan would join the show via Skype.
-Stanford noted that the Raw pre-show had more than 700,000 views on their various social media platforms.
-Lita spoke about how Bray Wyatt is on his own on Smackdown (even though Erick Rowan is on the same brand).
-Stanford read a Shane McMahon tweet about how the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship will be determined on Smackdown.
-Lawler laughed about Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley blowing it with their first two draft picks because they thought the WWE Championship would come to Raw.
-Footage aired of AJ Styles, Karl Anderson, and Luke Gallows after they were split by the draft. Gallows wasn’t so heartbroken. After they walked away, Styles said it looks like he is on his own.
-Stanford hyped the season finale of Swerved. Lita asked if Lawler has ever been swerved. He said he thought he was being swerved when he found out he was going to be on the pre-show with Stanford. Funny (and possibly true).
-A Mojo Rawley video package aired. Lita set up a video package for Alexa Bliss.
-Daniel Bryan joined the show from backstage at the venue.
-Bryan announced Becky Lynch vs. Natalya.
-Bryan announced Miz TV with a former WWE World Champion.
-Lawler said there are questions about people who have come out of the woodwork hoping to be signed to Smackdown. Bryan said a lot of people have called, including people he’s known for 15 years. He said Nikki Bella hasn’t tried to wedge her way into Smackdown, but that doesn’t mean she won’t try to.
-Bryan wrapped up the interview, claiming that Simon Gotch wanted to talk to him.
-The hosts discussed Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton for SummerSlam. Lawler mentioned that Lesnar got a big victory in UFC. Lita questioned whether Orton has lost his passion and fire now that he’s been there and done it all. Lawler said Orton is hoping that Lesnar is thinking the same way and underestimates him.
-Stanford noted that Lita has spent more time in NXT and questioned who she is looking forward to seeing on Smackdown. She praised American Alpha, but said that while she’s not “internet cool” Alexa Bliss excites on Smackdown excites her the most.
