CM Punk is a heavy underdog heading into his first UFC fight. Bovada.TV released odds on the Punk vs. Mickey Gall fight that is scheduled for UFC 203. Gall opened at -300 and Punk is +265.
Powell’s POV: You would have to beat $3 just to win $1 if Gall wins the fight, whereas a $20 bet on Punk would pay you $53 if he wins. I don’t think the oddsmakers picking Gall as a heavy favorite should surprise anyone. UFC 203 will be held on September 10 in Cleveland, Ohio at Quicken Loans Arena.
