WWE makes good on promise to World Series winners, NXT regular running for office

Logo_WWE_dnThe Kansas City Royals received their WWE World Heavyweight Championship title belt on Saturday. Triple H publicly promised the team their own title belt after the won the World Series. You can check out the belt with the Royals side plates at KansasCity.com.

-Rhyno (a/k/a Terrance Gerin) is running for the state representative for his district in Dearborn, Michigan. He spoke with WWE.com about the move.

Powell’s POV: The World Series concluded in October, so it took WWE several months to deliver the title belt to the Royals, who are currently in spring training. However, it arrived before the team’s rings, which will be presented to them prior to their April 5 game. Meanwhile, we haven’t seen the last of Rhyno in the ring. “I’m 40, I can still wrestle full time, and I can still do this … represent people and give them someone they can be proud of,” he told the WWE website.
