All Elite Wrestling announced Thursday that “The Rock & Roll Express” Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson will present the AEW Tag Title belts to the first champions on Wednesday’s Dynamite television show. Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix will face Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky in the finals of the tournament to crown the first champions.
Powell’s POV: Bret Hart introduced the AEW Championship belt, and now Morton and Gibson will present the tag belts. I like the way the company is having the legends to add prestige to their title belts. Next week’s Dynamite will be held in Charleston, West Virginia at Charleston Coliseum.
