The following matches are advertised for the WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, which will be held on October 8 in Detroit, Michigan at Little Caesar’s Arena.
-Kevin Owens vs. Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell match.
-New Day vs. The Usos in a Hell in a Cell match for the Smackdown Tag Titles.
-Jinder Mahal vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship.
-Natalya vs. Charlotte for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
-AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin for the U.S. Championship.
-Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler.
-Randy Orton vs. Rusev.
Powell’s POV: The card has come together nicely and it’s a rare case where I’m fine with there being two HIAC matches since both feuds feel hot enough to belong inside the structure. This will be WWE’s first event in the Little Caesar’s Arena, which is the new home of the NHL’s Detroit Red Wings and the NBA’s Detroit Pistons.
No one cares about Orton vs. Rusev. Is anyone pumped to see Orton doing anything at this point? That guy sucks the life out of everything he’s involved with.
