-The pre-show opened with footage of Kevin Owens telling Michael Cole that Seth Rollins has a lot to prove because he’s been nothing but a failure since returning from knee surgery.
-Scott Stanford, Lita, Booker T, and Jerry Lawler hosted the show from the WWE studio in Stamford, Connecticut. Lita hyped the Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns non-title match that will put Reigns in the Clash of Champions main even if he is victorious.
-The panel discussed the relationship between Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley. They aired footage of Foley overruling Stephanie when she tried to suspend Owens last week.
-All three panelists predicted that Roman Reigns will defeat Kevin Owens on Raw.
-The trivia question was who was the last WWE wrestler to win the cruiserweight title at a Clash of Champions. It was Chris Jericho defeating Eddie Guerrero.
-The panel hyped the arrival of the Cruiserweight division. Lawler said his favorites are Kota Ibushi and “Matalik Lemon.” Booker told the joke for Lawler, who was intentionally mixing up Gran Metalik with Meadowlark Lemon of the Harlem Globetrotters.
-Backstage at Raw, Cathy Kelley spoke about social media news. She focussed on Kevin Owens and Roman Reigns. The middle rope breaking on Big Show during an overseas match, a college football coach impersonating John Cena, and Finn Balor feeling bad for taking a photo with Hideo Itami during a past hospital visit.
-Sasha Banks’ retirement tease from last week was recapped, along with Bayley defeating Charlotte. Stanford asked whether Sasha or Bayley deserves a title shot more. Lita wants a Triple Threat. Booker said Charlotte deserves a singles match. Lita said Sasha has a rematch clause. Booker questioned whether Sasha is 100 percent. Lawler said Sasha should get the shot because she’s been in WWE more than a month. Booker said Bayley beat the champion and deserves it.
-Backtage at Raw, Mick Foley told Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows that the Old Day spoof missed the mark. They said they were there on serious business. They complained that they were supposed to face just Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods at SummerSlam. They said they will show the world what would have happened if New Day had not taken the coward’s way out. “No more Old Day…ever…it was awful,” Foley said. Gallows and Anderson vs. Woods and Kingston is official for Raw.
-Lawler said the Old Day routine and all the Anderson and Gallows skits are awful. Lita said she wants to see Anderson and Gallows get back to being the killers they were known for being in Japan. Amen.

I think that they should have a Triple Threat for the following after Seth’s Rollins interface and Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens stupidity. Or Rather than later.Make Seth’s Rollins and Roman Reigns tag team championship titles.
