The following matches and events are advertised for tonight’s NXT television show.
-Grayson Waller holds an open challenge for the NXT Championship
-Zaria vs. Thea Hail for the NXT Women’s North American Championship
-Nathan Frazer and Axiom vs. Osiris Griffin and Cutler James in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament first-round match
-Channing Lorenzo and Uriah Connors vs. Mini Vikingo and Chaz “Starboy” Hall in a Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament first-round match
-Myles Borne returns
Powell’s POV: NXT announced that Mason Rook was not medically cleared, so he has been pulled from his scheduled match with Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship. The Twitter/X announcement (also available below) notes that Waller will still defend his championship. It was announced a short time later that Waller will defend the title in an open challenge that anyone on the NXT roster is eligible to accept.
