She revealed that she knows a real giant, none other than Shaq. Cody\u2019s wife, Brandi Rhodes, then stormed into the ring to defend her husband\u2019s honor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI joined AEW because here I have a voice,\u201d said Jade. \u201cI\u2019m ready to shake up the women\u2019s division, and I\u2019m going to flip this promotion on its head.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jade, who played basketball at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Fla., brings a high level of athleticism and intensity to the AEW women\u2019s division. With her background as a professional trainer and explosive demeanor on the mic, Jade is poised to make a powerful impression inside and outside the ring.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re committed to expanding the AEW women\u2019s division by signing great athletes,\u201d said Tony Khan, CEO and GM of AEW. \u201cJade is an amazing athlete, and she\u2019s an exciting addition to our<br \/>\nwomen\u2019s roster. I\u2019m confident that fans will enjoy getting to know Jade\u2019s strong personality and watching her development as a wrestler after her surprising confrontation with Cody and Brandi<br \/>\nRhodes last night on Dynamite.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Powell&#8217;s POV:<\/strong><\/span> I am looking forward to seeing what she can do in the ring. She has a strong athletic background and it will be interesting to see how that carries over to her in-ring work.
