Young starting off with a loss is interesting, just because it is such a departure from the usual way of doing things. The win makes Joe look super strong in his first match as champion. I&#8217;m so excited for the Joe reign as NXT Champion.<\/p>\n<p><b>Austin Aries vs. Tye Dillinger:<\/b> What a fun match! The pace and action were both great, but the crowd really made this. They were in to both guys, and it seemed to amp up Dillinger and Aries even more. You have to hope for Dillinger&#8217;s sake that someone backstage is noticing how well he is getting over with little to work with.<\/p>\n<p><b>Opening segment:<\/b> Truth be told, the signing of Eric Young doesn&#8217;t do much for me. He has made me laugh in the past, but I never saw him among the TNA elite, whom I&#8217;d much rather see in NXT. That said, his promo was good, and no doubt the crowd liked him, so my sour grapes can pass.<\/p>\n<p><b>The Revival vs. Hype Bros:<\/b> A minor Hit, but I appreciate how strong The Revival were booked to appear. They dominated the Hype Bros, and look dead set to be credible threats to American Alpha when the rematch rolls around.<\/p>\n<p><b>No Way Jose:<\/b> Again, the crowd at Full Sail made this fun. I hope you all enjoy the hype train, because those lingering doubts that this gimmick only has short term appeal aren&#8217;t going anywhere.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>WWE NXT Misses<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Nia Jax vs. Tessa Blanchard:<\/b> To reiterate this point for what feels like the 100th time &#8211; Jax isn&#8217;t improving, and my interest in her matches continues to plummet.<\/p>\n<p><i>Thanks for reading.
