Hogan claims in the lawsuit that his &#8220;income was cut off, his legacy in entertainment was severely damaged (if not completely destroyed), and his global brand was forever tarnished.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gawker issued a statement in response. &#8220;This is getting ridiculous. Hulk Hogan is a litigious celebrity abusing the court system to control his public image and media coverage. As we\u2019ve said before and are happy to say again: Gawker did not leak the information. It\u2019s time for Hulk Hogan to take responsibility for his own words, because the only person who got Hulk Hogan fired from the WWE is Hulk Hogan.&#8221; Rad more at the <a href=\"http:\/\/nypost.com\/2016\/05\/02\/hulk-hogan-hits-gawker-with-another-lawsuit\/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&amp;utm_source=NYPFacebook&amp;utm_medium=SocialFlow\" target=\"_blank\">NYPost.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Powell&#8217;s POV:<\/strong><\/span> Hogan&#8217;s latest lawsuit does not specify financial damages he is hoping to recover. The timeline is interesting, as the Post notes that Gawker CEO Nick Denton wrote a blog predicting that Hogan&#8217;s &#8220;real secret&#8221; would come out soon just as the National Enquirer posted the transcript. A.J. Daulerio, who was Gawker&#8217;s editor at the time, tweeted &#8220;XOXOXO&#8221; and linked to the Enquirer story.
