With the The Los Angeles Stadium at Hollywood Park under construction in Inglewood, the Los Angeles Times reports that the venue is already rumored to be the front-runner for the 2021 event.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We know the power of the WWE brand,&#8221; Kathy Schloessman, president of the Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Commission, told the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/sports\/la-sp-wwe-westlemania-20190408-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LATimes.com<\/a>. &#8220;They have hosted several events here in the past such as SummerSlam, Survivor Series, Raw and Smackdown and we have seen the tremendous impact these events have in the community, both economically and socially. Given our focus on attracting major sporting and entertainment events to Los Angeles, WrestleMania is at the top of our list of events we want here.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Powell&#8217;s POV:<\/strong><\/span> This should not comes as a surprise to anyone. Los Angles and Las Vegas have been pegged as likely destinations for future WrestleMania events ever since both cities announced plans to build NFL stadiums. The Inglewood stadium is scheduled to open in the summer of 2020 and will be the home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers of the NFL.
