Angle picked up a young wrestler by the neck and then dropped him. Angle stated that he was trying to keep the child from messing up. &#8220;I should have just walked away and let him get thrown out,&#8221; Angle told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtae.com\/article\/coach-eric-angle-charged-assault-pennsylvania-junior-wrestling-tournament-petersen-events-center-pittsburgh\/26856250\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WTAE.com<\/a>. &#8220;Instead, I&#8217;m the one who embarrassed myself even more.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Powell&#8217;s POV:<\/strong><\/span> Eric is the the brother of WWE legend Kurt Angle. WTAE also included footage of the incident. It&#8217;s unclear what prompted Eric to grab the boy, but his reaction to it was terrible and he was rightfully charged with a crime.
