We truly appreciate the understanding and support of our fans.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>-NJPW also announced that David Finlay will miss the New Japan Cup with a left shoulder injury.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Powell&#8217;s POV:<\/strong><\/span> NJPW had issues getting work visas for their New Beginning events due to the U.S. government shutdown. It&#8217;s obviously good to see that&#8217;s been resolved over a month before the G1 Supercard event at Madison Square Garden. Best of luck to Finlay. NJPW did not offer a timeline on his return, nor did they say who will take his place in the New Japan Cup tournament. Finlay was scheduled to face Hiroyoshi Tenzan in the first round on March 10.
