No cause of death was provided when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wwe.com\/article\/dynamite-kid-passes-away\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WWE.com<\/a> announced the news of his death this morning.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Powell&#8217;s POV:<\/strong><\/span> Billington turned 60 on the day of his death. He was an amazing in-ring performer who had memorable runs in Japan, Calgary, and really everywhere he worked, and is best known many as one half of the British Bulldogs tag team from his WWF run with Davey Boy Smith. The wear and tear from his in-ring style resulted in severe back and leg injuries that ended his career and confined him to a wheelchair.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-lang=\"en\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">It deeply saddens me to announce the passing of Tom Billington the \u201cDynamite Kid.\u201d &#x1f62d;&#x1f622;&#x1f64f;I was really happy and glad I got to see Dynamite one last time last June in the UK. &#x1f1ec;&#x1f1e7; &#x2764;&#xfe0f;&#x1f64f;.
